- The Great Briton Olympics Hockey Team unfortunately lost their first pools match 4 - 2, to the Netherlands, the reigning champions. Briton put in a great fight, when every goal scoared by the Dutch, Briton pulled one back until the last two goals, where it was too late. | ||
| - Again another disapointing result for Great Briton, they lost to Pakistan, runner-ups of the last olympics, by a massive 8 goals to 1. Unlucky for Great Briton, but Pakistan dominated the whole match, by yards. They just kept on scoaring, with a first tremendous Penalty flick, going straight into the roof of the net.
